Hi Subscriber First Name,

It’s Amy’s birthday today πŸŽ‚. And in honor of this incredibly talented, beautiful, raw soul, we’re getting cozy in our feels.

A couple of weeks ago, my bestie told me about the Amy documentary. And when I tell you I’ve been down the rabbit hole since πŸ•³. (Have you seen it?)

I think so many of us can relate to Amy. We see ourselves in her sad eyes. We hear the cry of our own soul in her music. We feel her desperation for love as if it’s our own.

She shamelessly wore her tender insecurities and vulnerabilities on her delicate sleeves. Insecurities and vulnerabilities most of us have, but hardly ever share.

All she wanted was to be loved β€” for who she truly was.

Her story is our story.

Unfortunately, she was surrounded by the wrong people and the fame got the best of her.

But today we remember her as a ✨dazzling✨ soul sister who brought the music of the very depths of our own souls to life.

Below I’m sharing some soulful Amy goodness, along with some other goodies you can turn to the next time you’re in your feels.

Because sometimes we just have to turn toward our feelings and sit with them in order to let them go. It’s in the moments that we want to numb, suppress and run away from the sad feelings that we should consider journeying into them, understanding them, and fully feeling them.

That’s how we let them go. And that’s how we get to the other side πŸ–€.
